"Serving God with purpose, for his Glory"

The Bible

“There is no other book so various as the Bible, nor one so full of concentrated wisdom. Whether it be of law, business, morals, etc. . . . he who seeks for guidance . . . may look inside its covers and find illumination.”—Herbert Hoover

The first way to grow in Christ is to love Him. Loving the Lord Jesus is the first step we need to take in order to grow in our Christian life. That’s because the divine life we receive when we believe the gospel is this living Christ in us.

The secret place of the most high God, is found in Jesus Christ. To the men of the old, the plan of Christ to come was a mystery. But we, who are in the new covenant, no longer behold mysteries because God has revealed everything to us. We dwell in Christ and in Him we are protected from the devices of the enemy.

Prayer:
Dear God, I thank you for the security that I have in Christ. Though the enemy may try to bring me down, I know that he will never succeed because I am hidden in you, Lord. May I never lose hope, Lord, and may I always remember the great assurance I have in you. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

The clearest sign that someone truly loves God is that they love people. As Christians, we are called to be loving towards our brothers and sisters in Christ, because our bond is what strengthens our faith. We are also called to be loving towards people of the world because it is our love that will be an example of God's love for them.

Welcome: Our ministry is based on these principles Love God, love people, show love and spread love.

With regard to Jesus Christ dwelling in our hearts, the first part of that duty applies to us: we need to make Christ feel at home in our hearts. He does not come into our hearts as a guest, but as the rightful owner. He bought us with His blood. When He comes to dwell in our hearts. He is taking possession of that which is rightfully His. We often talk about “inviting Christ into your heart,” To make Christ at home in your heart, you need prayer, power through God’s Spirit, and faith.

Every day brings us news of the chaos and confusion, the violence and fears our world is facing. If this is all we think about, even our health can suffer – headaches, an increase in our blood pressure, sleepless nights! When we turn our minds and hearts to God, we are reminded of the promises He has made. It's not that the world has changed, but our response to the cares of the world has changed.

This prayer of blessing given to Aaron for the Israelites is our prayer as well. This is a prayer that promises peace, protection, kindness and mercy. Let this prayer be our mantra for the New Year, a reminder of God's goodness. Let's not stop there! This prayer also gives us a way for us to be a blessing during this New Year. Just as God will be kind and merciful to us, we should be kind and merciful to others. In this way, not only will the year be a blessing for us, it will also be a blessing for others.

My beloved friends, let us continue to love each other since love comes from God. Everyone who loves is born of God and experiences a relationship with God. The person who refuses to love doesn’t know the first thing about God, because God is love—so you can’t know him if you don’t love. This is how God showed his love for us: God sent his only Son into the world so we might live through him. This is the kind of love we are talking about—not that we once upon a time loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to clear away our sins and the damage they’ve done to our relationship with God..

If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.
1CORINTHIANS 15:19

If we hang our hopes only on this temporary world, we are pitiful this world is full of disappointments. We are bound to be let down time and again when we place our hope only in this world that we live in. Everything on this earth will come to an end. Nothing here lasts. There has to be something more. Something greater than what we know in the here and now. Something that endures. There waits for us a hope greater than anything we know on this earth and that is the hope we find in Christ and in our place with Him in eternity. His resurrection has paved the way for our own. We have nothing to lose and everything to gain when we set our hopes on the world beyond this one.

Prayer:
Lord, my hope is in You alone. I will not place my hope in the people and things of this world. I will place my hope in eternity with Christ and in the place He has prepared for me there. Amen.
